Redstone World

Project Details

Redstone World was a base that doubled as an amusement park. Inspired by Canada's Wonderland the park aimed to provide entertainment and a meeting place for players on the server. The very first ride was the mine cart track through the mountain, while the chicken farm served as the first vendor. Later, construction began on a circular hotel, making use of the new (at the time) dyed clay blocks to add a splash of colour to the area.

Towards the end of this server construction began on a fort in the hills that was relatively hidden from below. This was created in preparation for the Shaynevasion, the namesake of the server. The fear was that items would be pillaged, and bases destroyed. So the mountain fort was created in secret and had a stash of items for emergency measures. Luckily it was never needed, and after a brief period of heightened tensions, peace was restored.
