Adding Pages

Let's get you familiar with the structure of content in here, as well as tips for adding pages and linking to necessary places to ensure they can be found by others. By the end of this section you should feel confident creating new pages.
If you aren't sure where to put a page, place it under the server's chapter in the servers book. It can always be moved later without any trouble. If it is not server specific pick the best book or category, or ask one of the moderators where it would fit.

Default Page Templates
We will take a deep dive into templates in the next section, but we do need to touch on them here. Some books, notably projects and pets, have default page templates that are applied to newly created pages. Below is a list of books with default template settings, which can help you with deciding where to place pages as well.

It is pretty self-explanatory, but the list is handy nonetheless.

New page workflow
Talk about what the workflow for adding a page looks like. Bookstack's major downfall, not being able to create empty links. So you must create the page first, and then link it on other pages. For example creating a project page must be done in the projects book first, and then it can be added to player pages and server pages after it is created.
